Anna Budzanowska

Bio
Since 2021, Dr. Anna Budzanowska has been employed as an Assistant Professor at the Cracow University of Economics and the Silesian University in Katowice, as well as serving as an affiliated researcher at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun.
She has previously lectured at the University of Warsaw (2009–2011), Tischner European University (2005–2008), and the Chair in Comparative Constitutional Law, Faculty of Law and Administration, Jagiellonian University in Krakow (2003–2008).
Her research focuses on political doctrines and philosophy, and public policies in education systems.
In the field of legal doctrines and political thought, her work explores the ideological traditions of European freethinkers, women’s history, secularization processes, and the systemic, legal, and ideological consequences of nationalism.
In the area of public policymaking, her research examines deliberative processes, climate change and governance in education, as well as higher education and science policies, particularly regarding academic institutions, university systems, the European University Initiative (EUI), and university councils.
