IIAS Chairs Panel on Transformative Governance at Lien 2025 Conference

Diogo Pereira,

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) was proud to participate as a co-host of the Lien International Conference on Good Governance 2025, held on 21–22 July 2025 in Singapore. The conference gathered over 300 participants from around the world, including scholars, practitioners, and policy leaders, fostering a global exchange on resilient, inclusive, and future-ready governance.

A highlight of the event was the NCPA–IIAS Dialogue: Global Discourse on Transformative Governance, where Dr. Sofiane Sahraoui, IIAS Director General, chaired the panel, featuring distinguished experts including Mrs. Rosa Huey Daniel, Prof. Georgios Papakonstantinou, and Mr. Vassilis Exarchos.

The event provided a platform to discuss topics such as digital governance, AI applications in policy, sustainable development, and financial resilience, reinforcing IIAS’s commitment to promoting knowledge exchange, international collaboration, and thought leadership in public administration.

IIAS looks forward to continuing its engagement with global partners and contributing to shaping the future of governance through dialogue, research, and practice. The Institute also thanks the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) for their continuous partnership.

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences calls for proposals for its 2026 Conference, to be held in Seoul (South Korea) on November 17-20 on the theme of "Growth for Society: Collaborative governance, social innovation, and Public Value". Additional calls can be submitted to iias-conference@iias-iisa.org by May 24.

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) and the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) took a step forward in aligning scientific activities across IIAS and its entities through a recent meeting involving Liezel Lues, President of IASIA, Tim Mau (University of Guelph), and Marco De la Cruz, Scientific Director of IIAS.

The European Group for Public Administration (EGPA) has received nearly 900 submissions for its 2026 Annual Conference, to be held at Sapienza Università di Roma in Rome from August 24 to 27, 2026.
