Bringing different academic, professional and international backgrounds, they will contribute to the Institute’s work in archives, communication and administration.

During IIAS Governance Week 2026, held from 10 to 12 June 2026 in Brussels, the IIAS Secretariat came together in person as a full team for the first time, bringing together colleagues who work from different parts of the world.


Only one day remains to submit abstracts for the 18th Annual LAGPA/IIAS Conference, to be held in Quito, Ecuador, from 14 to 16 September 2026. Under the theme "Public Management and the Future of Latin American Economic Integration: Navigating Global Fragmentation and Regional Opportunities," the conference will bring together academics, researchers, public officials, and international organizations to discuss the future of governance and public administration in Latin America. Abstract submissions close on 10 July 2026.
