Welcome to our two new Interns at IIAS

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is proud to announce the addition of two new interns to its team. Internships play a vital role in the development of the institution and we are pleased to welcome Oana-laviania Zamfirescu and Pop Raluca to our team.

Internships provide opportunities for individuals to gain hands-on experience in their chosen field and provide valuable contributions to the organization. At IIAS, we recognize the importance of providing students with an opportunity to gain practical experience while learning from experts in their respective fields.

Oana-laviania Zamfirescu is a graduate student in European Studies/Civilization from the Universitatea din Oradea. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and European Studies, Political Science, and Government from the same university. Her passion for international relations and her academic background makes her a valuable asset to our team.


Pop Raluca is currently pursuing a Master's degree in European Studies at the Universitatea din Oradea. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and European Studies from the same university. Her academic background and knowledge of European studies will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to our work.


We invite those who are interested in gaining hands-on experience and contributing to an organization committed to advanced studies to join us and embark on an exciting global internship at IIAS. Our internship program provides a unique opportunity to work with top-notch experts while contributing to our mission of improving public governance research, education, and practice.

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) was pleased to welcome Professor Liu Hong, Director at the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and Professor Shen Wei, from the School of Public Administration at Zhejiang University, to the IIAS office in Brussels on 5 June 2026.

The IIAS Director General, Dr. Sofiane Sahraoui, and Secretariat bid farewell to Herbert Baumgartner and Manuela Ernst, from the Austrian Court of Audit, who have served as external auditors of the Institute.

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is inviting proposals from experienced service providers to manage the production of the French-language edition of the International Review of Administrative Sciences (IRAS), the Revue Internationale des Sciences Administratives (RISA).
