New Talent Joining the IIAS Secretariat: Welcome Anastasia Nistor

Diogo Pereira,

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is delighted to welcome Anastasia Nistor, who has joined the Secretariat as an intern at the IIAS Headquarters in Brussels for a three-month period, from October 2025 to January 2026.

Originally from Cahul, Republic of Moldova, Anastasia is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and European Studies at the University of Oradea, Romania. She is passionate about bridging cultural gaps and promoting democracy through civic education and European Union advocacy.

Her international journey includes experiences as a Youth Ambassador, volunteer for a Member of the European Parliament, and participant in Erasmus+ and other international academic projects, roles that have strengthened her skills in research, teamwork, and intercultural communication. Fluent in Romanian, Russian, and English, and with additional knowledge of Spanish and Turkish, Anastasia brings a global mindset and a strong commitment to fostering positive, inclusive change.

Anastasia has already contributed to the IASIA 2025 Conference in Mexico, assisting the Secretariat with its organization and logistics. Reflecting on this experience, she shared:

“It was an incredible experience that sparked inspiring discussions on public administration. This hands-on role allows me to apply my international relations background to real-world projects, fueling my passion for cross-cultural collaboration and democratic reforms while bringing fresh energy to the IIAS mission.

At IIAS, Anastasia supports the Secretariat team by assisting colleagues with daily operations, managing document archives, and helping prepare materials for events. Her proactive attitude, curiosity, and enthusiasm make her a great addition to the team.

Welcome to the IIAS team, Anastasia!
