The EGPA Permanent Study Group XII on Public Sector Financial Management hosted its Spring Workshop on May 9-10, 2024, at the University of Basilicata in Matera, Italy. The workshop, themed "The Role of Sustainability and Digital Transformation as Propellers of Public Value Creation," attracted over 70 participants from 10 countries, including Brazil and Australia, reflecting its global significance.

The European Group for Public Administration (EGPA) is hosting a new Citizen Participation Clinic on November 8, 2023, from 12:00 to 13:00 CET. The event will delve into the New England Town Meeting, a form of local governance that allows citizens to design, discuss, amend, and approve policy.


Professor Gyorgy Hajnal from Corvinus University, Hungary, and former NISPAcee President, has been elected as the new Chair of the European Association for Public Administration Accreditation (EAPAA) Board. The election took place during the EAPAA Board and General meetings held in Zagreb, Croatia, within the framework of the EGPA Annual Conference on September 7, 2023.
